Wrinkle Treatment

Factors such as genetics, environmental effects, carbohydrates, especially sugar, flour-based dietary habits, and duration of exposure to ultraviolet rays may be more effective in the formation of wrinkles than age.

Treatment Method

What can be done to reduce wrinkles which have appeared too early?

  1. Skin Care; The first requirement for a better quality and well-maintained skin is to take care of the skin properly. It is necessary to have professional skin care performed at regular intervals and using skincare products and sunscreen regularly.
  2. Microneedle Radiofrequency (Golden Needle); The mechanism in all skin regeneration systems is based on inflicting damage to the skin and activating the body's self-healing mechanisms to repair this damage. Scarlet tip, or gold needle has 25 needles. After contacting the skin, it sends radiofrequency energy from the needle tip and along the needle line. After certain adjustments of depth and energy depending on the thickness of the skin and the problem, the entire skin or problem area is treated. If we consider that the entire face is treated, damage is created at an average of 15,000 points and the skin is stimulated with radiofrequency. The temperature formed at these 15,000 points initiates the cell renewal process in the connective tissue production center, referred to as fibroblast activation. Wrinkles occur when collagen and elastin cells decrease due to aging and environmental factors. With the cell production activated by the Golden Needle application, a decrease in wrinkles occur, thanks to the newly formed cells.
  3. Erbium Yag Fractional Laser; is based on the principle of creating micro columns of desired depth and intensity on the skin with laser energy. In a controlled manner, this destroys the damaged cells by causing thousands of points of damage in the application area. Healing mechanisms come into play. Thus, it provides improvement in wrinkles with the formation of new cells.
  4. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma); When any damage occurs to our body, the platelets in our blood are the ones that first arrive at the area and initiate the cellular repair mechanism. PRP is a technique that mimics the body's natural repair mechanism. Blood is drawn from the patient and the intense reparative content is separated by centrifugation. Afterwards it can be injected into the wrinkles alone, or the effectiveness can be further increased by combining Dermapen, microneedle RF, Er:YAG Lasers with PRP, while creating controlled damages on the skin. With the activation of new cells, wrinkles are reduced.
  5. Mesotherapy; The philosophy of treatment in mesotherapy is to inject specially prepared mixtures into the skin with the microinjection method. This helps cell regeneration and synthesis of new fibers. One might wonder why is mesotherapy needed in the treatment of wrinkles, since it can also be accomplished with other procedures? Over time, hyaluronic acid and many other elements are depleted in the skin. If these substances which play a role in cell remodeling are missing in the skin, this mechanism may not work with the desired performance, no matter how much new cell formation is triggered. This process is also called facial mesolift. The injection into the dermis stimulates cellular metabolism and prepares ground for rejuvenating the tissues. Thus, it is aimed to increase the firmness of the skin, to provide moisture balance, to reduce wrinkles and to open pores, to help collagen production and to accelerate cell turnover. There are different cocktails available and depending on the age of the person and the requirements of the skin, cocktails are applied in sessions to reduce wrinkles.
  6. Focused Ultrasound (Ultherapy); Focused Ultrasound, or Ultherapy, is a non-surgical skin tightening method which aims to treat the loosening and sagging of the skin instigated by time and gravity. With Ultherapy, sound waves are focused at 1.5 – 3 - 4.5 mm depths of the skin. The waves it sends under the skin help to strengthen the subcutaneous connective tissue by increasing the production of building blocks such as collagen and elastin by creating micro-focal heat damage on the skin.

Wrinkles that set in due to mimics, chronological aging, and environmental factors, as well as using mimics intensively, cause the formation of deeper and more numbers of wrinkles.

The areas most impacted by this condition are the area between the eyebrows, forehead and around the eyes. Botulinum toxin injection can be applied to these areas to maintain the wrinkle-free state and to open-up the existing wrinkles. Filling injections can also be applied into the areas that are deepening.

Hyaluronic Acid (Filling) injections with different molecular properties can be applied to open the wrinkles that occur throughout the face and to ensure the skin better retains moisture. Generally, fine caliber fillers that spread like a thin fabric under the skin, such as satin filling, are preferred.

An incrustation is created on the skin resulting in stretching with the application of smooth eye laser to wrinkles located around the eyes. This allows for lessening of the settled-in crow's feet as well as obtaining radiant appearance.

After a detailed evaluation of skin structure and wrinkle level by an experienced physician, decisions are made as to which of these many methods to remove wrinkles should be chosen and how they should be applied. Often combined treatments can be applied. Personalized programs are prepared.
